Annie is drawn to the beauty, humor, and wonder found in everyday life. Her work is inspired by the people, places, and small moments that make family life memorable—quirky traditions, expressive characters, treasured stories, and the unexpected details that invite us to slow down and look a little closer.
Annie earned a bachelor’s degree in Art from Brigham Young University, with an emphasis in Illustration.
Her work explores visual storytelling, with a particular love for expressive figures, narrative moments and the beauty found in day-to-day chaotic family life. She is especially interested in creating art for children's books—images that are playful and inviting while still carrying emotional depth and a sense of story.
Annie lives in the rolling corn fields of Iowa with her husband and five kids, where she spends her time creating art, homeschooling, baking, thrifting and finding inspiration in the wonderfully ordinary chaos of family life.
